So first off, I'm having a hard time figuring out my monitor model. I think it's a WG only because one sticker on the chassis has a barcode with, "WG 2074127" sticker (see attached pic). But found nothing on the internet. There is another sticker on the back of the monitor that appears to also be a model number but I haven't found online for, "A63AFW36X," (see attached pic). Any thoughts if it's truly a Wells Gardner and which model based on the stickers?

Now for the reason of the post…it's a 60-n-1, and when I turn it on, it normally counts up from 1 to 60, then we are good to play.

But recently, I've turned it on and nothing. Marquee comes on, buttons/trackball and coin slots light up. When I moved the cabinet out to check the back, I didn't see anything unusual, on it. Even the neck does have the glow (see attached pic). So I turned it on again just to see it do nothing again but then it started counting up, like normal. Go figure,

But this last time, not so lucky. I still have neck glow and everything else. It's not playing blind because I don't hear the splash screen music playing. Does this mean that the issue lies with the 60-n-1 board? Or the connectors, even though everything seems to be seated well?

Certainly would appreciate any feedback and thoughts.
Thanks!

Looks like your monitor is a K7500.

The lights aren't controlled, so them coming on just indicates your power supply works.

If you don't have another source to try out on the monitor you could turn the screen knob up and see if you see the raster on your monitor. If you're not hearing your board booting up then I'd guess that's likely the issue.

Thanks. I do recall seeing some of the LED lights powering up on the board, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the board is good, right?

60in1s are notoriously crap quality but the board could be powered up and not producing a signal for the monitor.
Is there a switch on that board to control if the video signal is output to vga or cga?

Working with monitors kind of requires having a test pattern generator.
Makes it much easier to narrow down where your problem is.

Check your voltage when the game is not booting. Don't just go by the led on the pcb or coin door lights.

Unplug the pcb and clean the harness and edge connector.

Sounds like the monitor is working. If voltage is good and after cleaning it still won't boot, my guess is the game board.

I'll check for that switch when I get home this weekend. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check into that when I return home. Thanks.

Looks like your ground wire came loose on the AC connector, unless I'm missing something
Actually, it looks like you are missing the connector

@fleckopolis I think they purposely removed out of the Molex connector because the AC plug had the ground prong removed, or they used an old AC plug with a missing ground prong and then they just removed the ground terminal from the connector.

Who knows. But I just ordered now plug and will rewire (with ground) and reconnect that terminal back into the Molex connector. šŸ‘
