Hey all, the color blue has the ability to show on my Frogger monitor, but only in the background when the blue pot is turned up. The actual objects in the game that should be blue aren't, and in addition purple colored objects (and others) revert back to red. My guess would be that signal that sends out blue from the game board is somehow not getting to the monitor. Any ideas on how I might fix this?
Note: I have tried the simple stuff like resetting all the connections in the wiring harness and the molex connector attaching to the monitor chassis, but nothing so far. I have very limited knowledge in electronics and would make it worse if I tried fixing it without any advice.
Here are a couple of pics on what I mean:
Compare this (what my Frogger image looks like) (ignore the blurriness, it's just my camera)

To this (what it should look like, an image from MAME)

And here is what my Frogger looks like when the blue pot is turned up. (Notice only the background is blue)

And finally, you may have noticed some discoloration in the monitor. Does it need degaussing? Or a cap kit?

Thanks so much for reading, and yes, I am very new to collecting and don't want to make anything worse. That's why I decided to ask here again for advice before attempting anything.
