Monitor just started blowing fuses, nintendo playchoice 10

So just swap the whole monitor and chassis for a Sanyo Ez? I'm guessing that's a 20 inch vice my 19, is that a problem?

No I'm talking you get the whole sanyo monitor (including tube and frame) that one isn't compatible with the k7000a (zenith tube). Its technically the right monitor for the job and they have way better picture quality. The other option is for you to get a regular k7000 chassis and mod it. Another option is to drop over 100$ on a flyback on that chassis you have and replace a bunch of shit.

If you can drop 150-200 on a sanyo than you're good otherwise you'll need to buy a k7000 chassis and mod it yourself for inverted video, you'll need to replace the flyback which is a must, cap the thing and hope it works.
I am good with the price, just haven't been able to find one.

Just remember a Sanyo runs on 100v. There should be a plug on the nintendo power supply that looks like an outlet. Normally the sanyo would plug in to that. Verify it is 100v-ish.

Here are some photos of the inside as requested. Let me know if you need a better picture off something. Also, my power supply doesn't have an outlet but instead has a connector. Thanks for all the advice.

Yeah looks like you're going to either have to replace the whole power supply to get the sanyo or just try and repair/replace that chassis. Damn that's a tough case but I guess you can try to repair the chassis or just ship it off.

The K7000 is the factory monitor for this system. Seems like there are a lot of easier options then replacing it with a Sanyo.

Well that sounds fun lol. I will have to do some research to see if someone can fix it. I did notice in the third picture that there was a silver component (don't know what it is called) that had some scorching on top. Not sure if that is normal or not.

Cool info. I thought they only came with the Sanyo or the Sharpe.

It's a generalization given to people because 99% of the time that is true and it's easier to say that then walk them through every example. Just like the Sanyo and Sharp are only used in Nintendo machines even though other manufacturers used them as well.

Arcade buffet has a WG k7000 chassis for sale, but I don't know if that will work with my monitor or not. The monitor says it is a WG461723.
