I have this 19" monitor who also is screwed, any chance to save it? (to the untrained eye, the picture is stretched at the buttom and compressed at the top)
I have tried to correct it, but i havent succeeded...

When was the Hantarex capped last? It looks like it's starting off normally, but as it warms up things get off.

Make/model of #2?

Turn down the screen control on the flyback of #1, and cap it

When it starts up, it´s like theres missing a color (green??)
I don´t know if it´s ever been capped...

A cap kit just replaces the electrolitic capacitors and usually nothing else. Do you know how to use a soldering iron? If not then you may want to consider sending the monitor chasis off for repair. If you want to learn to do it yourself..plenty of people on the boards can help.

Good Luck!

Thanks! - yes, i allready own a soldering iron, and know how to solder... (thats what i tell myself after making 2 JAMMA cabs from scratch....)

The yoke is the plastic housing with copper wire wound inside it on the back of the tube. Adjusting it is simply a matter of moving it around. You need to be careful when handling it with the monitor on. First, I'd just check to make sure it is tight, it is possible that it has slipped at some point in the past causing the distorted picture. It looks to me like the top of the yoke is leaning with the top further away from the tube than the bottom.
