I'm fairly positive the monitor in my MVS-4-25 is not the original and I had trouble seeing any model numbers on the chassis to find out what it is other than branding for "Sharp Image". I'll try to get back in there later to see what else I can find but here is a link to a few pictures I took if that helps (sorry about the quality, the monitor area of my MVS is hard to get back into): http://s1013.photobucket.com/albums/af252/allentoliver/Arcade Stuff/MVS/MVS Monitor/
Anyway, here are the symptoms:
When I first got the cab, the horizontal was a bit narrow which I was able to adjust without messing with the coil, however, now it seems to be a bit wide. I was playing Metal Slug yesterday and while there was any larger bright images or flashing, the geometry of the screen actually changed. It was getting wider and narrower with every flash. Not enough to make it unplayable but enough to be noticeable that it's probably not normal. I can try to take a video later if this doesn't make sense. There is also a louder than normal really high pitch whine.
