Did a search but wasn't coming up with anything. My 19" monitor on my galaga is very very fuzzy when you first turn it on. It takes a good 10+minutes for it to come into a clear picture. Focus on flyback makes no difference to speed it up. Any thoughts. thanks

It could be the tube... but it's probably the flyback.

If it's a K7000 with white knobs on the flyback, it's definitely the flyback.

i should of given a little more info, it got way worse with a tube swap but it had always done it to a degree. Would a tube rejuv help this out?

Well, if you already swapped the tube, then no, it won't help. A really beat tube won't focus properly (especially at the corners), and can take a long time to warm up. But if you've already tried another tube, then it's probably not your problem.

You definitely do need to give more information, most importantly, what kind of monitor is it? The K7000 was notorious for the focus divider going bad in the flyback, the focus pot arcing, and eventual flyback failure. You can always tell an old K7000 flyback because it has white knobs, rather than the new replacements, which have black knobs.

Another thing to check is the pin on the neckboard socket - the one isolated by itself. Is ther e any corrosion in there that you can see?
