I did a search and didn't find much, so here is my post!

I am running into an issue with my games being to close together and it seems like the monitors are causing interference with each other. They have a slight wave going on them. I see it alot with the games near the 25" monitors. I tried moving them around in different orders and get the same results. If I plug them in alone or pull them away from the pack, its fine. I thought maybe it was a power issue, but I have more than enough power.

Any recommendations how I can get this to stop? Its minor, but drives me up the wall, especially playing games where there isn't alot of action on the screen.

You could try experimenting with putting metal shielding between games. In order to be effective, any shielding you try really should be grounded. And tin foil is going to be too thin.

You might not be able to eliminate it entirely, but you might be able to reduce it. Some sheet metal mounted to the inside walls of the cabinets might be able to help somewhat.

Another thing I've found is that some games (like Road Blasters) with the large speakers in the front can cause a problem with nearby games too - but it's just a static magnetic field problem, not the rolling interference you're seeing.

There are nickle and other materials you can use to shield your monitors from each other a Gaussmeter will show you how much your monitor is throwing off there are very good magnetic shielding materials out there but they are not cheap.

I had just rebuilt a G07 that was in my Frogger, I replaced everything even the filter cap since it had a wave in it before the flyback went the other day... Much to my frustration, the wave was still there after I got it running again. I asked Jeff F who happened to walk in what else could cause the wave.. He turned it 90 degrees from the Crader Rader and it was fine. Silly fellow, that Jeff F.

I have this same problem in my collection. No room to put 6" between games or one must go and that is not happening. I've tried aluminum in various places without success.

I also gave this a shot and it didnt seem to do much. I sold a cab last week and have them spaced out now with no issues. Kinda sucks because you wanna squeeze that extra game in :(
