Not sure if this issue has happened to anyone, but I noticed monitor interference when playing Data East games, specifically. I own around 35 boards - ranging from CPS2, F3, Konami GX, etc. Everything else runs fine, but whenever I fire up a Data East game, I get thick, subtle, wavy bars moving across the screen. They fly one direction, hold for a second, and then fly back.

The Data East boards I own are - Boogie Wings, Psycho-Nics Oscar, Diet Go Go, Captain America, Break Thru and Chelnov. Some are worse than others, Psycho-Nics Oscar being the worst so far.

Any know why this would happen, and maybe have a recommended solution? My grounding seem OK, nothing nearby the cab that would cause interference either. I'm running these boards on a New Astro City, with a Nanao MS9 (pretty positive since that is a NAC stock monitor iirc). I can live with the issue if it's not damaging my monitor, but it's just weird that it's Data East specific. Thanks in advance for any insight.

EDIT: Argh, mods please move this to Monitor Tech. Sorry for the misplacement.

I'll try the jumper idea, thanks for the reply. As for pictures, it's tough to capture for some reason.

Is this common with Data East boards in particular? I've seen a few monitor interference threads on here but nothing about specific games causing it.
