I'm in the starting stages of designing a jamma test circuitboard for purpose of testing of all of the control panel inputs.
Specifically, I'm planning to plug this circuit board into each socket of my jamma switchers so that I can verify all of the buttons are accurately being passed to the jamma socket.
My question is: The monitor will be powered on in this situation. Is it safe to leave the monitor ON with the video input wires (RGB and Sync) disconnected? would it be better to ground them? What would you suggest?
Thanks in advance.
