I tried to shoot a couple of pics of my monitor and what the issue is.

Basically it's a couple of issues I have.

1. It doesn't center very well. It favors the right half of the screen. Virtually impossible to center perfectly.

2. There is some lower right hand corner 'fold' that I believe was present before I did the cap kit, and that's why I did it. There were some other folding issues previously as well if I remember correctly.

3. You can see several thin lines along the right hand side of the screen as well. These run vertically from top to bottom. Reminds me of an issue I had with a karate champ that a cap kit fixed perfectly.

love some advice

Turn your blue down. Adjust your horiz. hold pot a tad to see if that downturn gets better. Adjust your V-Lin pot (if you have one) to see if you can even the image width out a bit. Move your position jumpers to see if you can shift the pic more towards center...

I can do all that, check back after Duke wins another title, and jack bauer kicks some ass.
thanks mod

oh yeah, the v-line pot is the upgrade you see on some of these monitors right? This one doesn't have it. Several others I have do, but I really wanted to keep this heavily ms-pac-burnt monitor in this cab. And changing the chassis now, is something I am not motivated to do.

If you don't have a vlin pot, check the number on the bottom of the chassis to see if it ends in -023. If so, it has to match the early version yoke or it won't work properly. You probably already have an early version yoke in there, but you need to know that before ever thinking about swapping chassis....

Ok, Duke won another title.

Now I am waiting for Bauer to kick some ASS!
