Check the pics.. it's a 27" Sharp Image brand. That's about all I know. I was told that the chassis was bad. Does anyone know much about these boogers and where I can get a replacement? It looks to be a vga monitor as well.

Thanks.
David

Yeah, looks alot like that one.. has the little riser looking board up in the left corner just like the pic you posted. I'm thinking that is it..

I was looking at my pics again and noticed something.. I zoomed it up to get a better look and I'm pretty sure I found the issue.. take a look yourself. I guess a cap kit is in order. Well, at least one cap anyways.

Sorry for all the posts... I took a second look a bit ago.. IDK, maybe I just needed that few hours to get a fresh new look. That area in the pic is just dust and dirt, the cap is fine. I actually was able to get the monitor up and going sorta.. The neck always had a glow but the screen was just uber bright. I turned the brightness down, got some serious sync issue. After fighting the sync I then tried switching the chassis from 15k to 25k. (I wasn't sure what it was at to be honest I know I just tried switching it.) After switching it, I noticed that the sync was in a mor managable pattern. I was able to adjust out the sync and get a picture!! Yay! Next is just some fine tunning. I picked up the game at a local arcade auction and they had their techs work on it. Might explain why all the settings were out of wack! The board was set to high res and the chassis was not.. Now I tried flipping the dip switch on the board to standard res and couldn't get the sync issues worked out. As of now, the game only works in 25k med res mode. Not bad for a $100.00 dollar Big Buck Hunter II. Not my type of game but the kids are gonna love it. They've been bugging me for one for some time.

The chassis also turned out to be a SI-727R DS

I guess for the most part this thread is done.. I would like to find a manual still but oh well..
