Gentlemen,
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what monitor this is. Thanks in advance.

Its a NeoTec something or other. Look on the back of the neck board cover for a sticker. Its probably a 2701 or 2702 form the looks of things.

Hv Cap

That maybe a 29C
I worked for one company and they
had a few of them..
Check the flyback number.
Should be Low res.
Whats the symptom on the monitor?

No high voltage or neck glow. Very quite clicking coming from chassis upon powerup.

I should have guessed..
You are getting B+ but its loaded down..
Suspect is the HV polyester cap..
Next to the Pin amp black heatsink and the damper diode
the dark looking brown HV cap in picture.
looks like and from experience it has a split in it..
If original caps you need a cap kit too.
also check the HOT if still good,it maybe ok.

Alright, thanks guys. Do you know where I can find a cap kit for it?

It is a NeoTec 2701. Thanks guys, that is why I ask you. Now I need to track down that C423 cap.

There are two versions of the 2700 series. Look for these versions silkscreened on the boards:

"Li-Chin"

"Full Family"

Yeah, Ken I saw your other posts when guys were asking about this monitor. From what I have been told, C423 is the same regardless. Is that correct? And most capkits for this monitor just send you enough caps to cover both versions? I will check which version it is when I get back to my shop, but when ordering capkits, does it matter? I am fixing this monitor for another guy, and I am trying to convince him to let me cap it too. Thanks in advance.
