I just picked up a Galaxian cocktail cab with this monitor in it. Is it a K4600? There are no stickers other than an RCA 80-35WNA tag and a WG907650 serial number tag.

I read that it should be a G07 in the Galaxian's. I have not turned anything on but I figure the flyback is bad since it looks blown. It needs a PCB and some cleaning up.

If it is a K4600 should I be looking for a flyback or a G07 monitor?

Maybe it's not bad. I sometimes see these with black globs of epoxy or whatever on them and they work just fine. If the fuse isn't blown, I'd hook it up, stand back, and power it up...

I did not see any fuses blown, but the holder needs to be cleaned for sure. I will clean and report back. If nothing blows up I plan to take voltage readings and see if they are correct. If they are correct I will need to find a PCB.

Could the monitor swap cause the flyback issue? And will the game play with this monitor?

Thanks for the confirmation on the monitor model.

It should work fine. I thought Galaxians were shipped primarily with K4500s & later with 4600s.

Anyhow, check which interface board it has, and mind the video connections (there are a couple of varieties with different pinouts).
