I picked up a Taito Gameroom Classic Bartop.

I've been looking for the last hour for any kind of manual...specify the schematics on the monitor

When I fire the game up I here the HV pulse off and on about every half second or so.

Anyone know what monitor is in this and if the schematics are available?

Thanks!

As in, you hear a chirp.... chirp..... chirp.... chirp..... coming from the monitor?

Chances are you have a shorted horizontal output transistor. Check that first. In newer monitors, the power supply shuts down in an overload condition and makes this chirping noise. Usually, this is because the HOT has failed. This is as opposed to older monitors, which simply blow a fuse.

And no, I don't know what kind of monitor this is. But start by checking the HOT.

Yeah..almost exactly.

From what I've tested so far I found about 6 bad diodes on the board. I'm guessing this thing took quite a power hit.

The location where the fuse looks like it should be has a jumper (lower center of the boards).

I'm pretty sure this is a RoHS board...desoldering is gonna be a bitch to check the transistors
