i just bought one of these nib, i want to use it on my moon patrol. it has a different connector (power), than i've seen before. it's a 3 position molex, one seems to be a green ground that is attached to the monitor frame. my question is:
can i remove this, take the pins, place them in a new 2 position connector, as the monitor frame is grounded by the frame ground already? also, what is the trick to getting those pins out of the molex easily? thanks,

just did this a few hours ago

yes sir, you can pop the pins out and repin the connector anyway you want. I usually attach the ground wire to something inside the cab that is a decent ground or ignor it.

To take the pins out, find a small eyeglass screwdriver or something flat sided that fits between the pin and connector.. push in the right and left sides of the pin.. usually you can see the 2 barbs that are holding it in.. then pull them out.

I've got a half dozen or so k7203's that all came with the 3 pin connect, with green in the center.. repinned them all and works like a charm.
