looking for a complete working monitor for space invaders deluxe. Or someone who can repair. The closer to 10965 (NY) the better .

update. I swapped in a different chassis (thanks Melchman ! :)) and its working. Needs cap kit , but that's lined up to be done shortly

It had a little flicker as the game warmed up. Sent it out for repair . Now doesn't even power up. Little suction cup is very stiff , not flexible like others I've seen. From the looks , not sure any work actually got performed on it. I don't have the skills to fix it. I can swap in a working one though.

You sure it's not powering up? No neck glow? Try turning the brightness and contrast up?

The suction cup being stiff shouldn't be a problem, unless you're seeing a light show.

The suction cup (anode cap) can be replaced with a more modern one (I bought several off of ebay, but you could also scavenge a scrap TV), though if you don't have a 'light show' from the anode cap, it is not of great concern.

You should be able to find someone local who can fix that. B&W chassis are not common to find now. Even if you replace it, please make sure to pass along/sell/etc the current one, don't trash it.

I've read there is a way you can replace the B&W one with a color one, which would be much easier to find.
