This question has probably been asked a million times, but how do you get rid of the flagging that happens on the side of the screen near the anode cup?
The monitor is a K7600 Standard Res. Monitor, and the game is a Pac-Man.
Thanks.

try a cap kit first

typically a cap kit will fix this issue.

start there and see what happens.

well a cap kit can solve many issues on a k7000. even flaggin as i have done several with flagin all were cured with a cap kit.

and wile you have the chassis out you need to reflow many of the solder joints.

also if it has an old flyback expecally the with knob version that can cause flaging and focus issues as well. so i would replace it along with a cap kit.

that is odd you may have a board problem but i dont know any thing on PCB repair.

i do know that a cap kit could not hurt as it also may be a failing cap some where. and it will look better after a kit has been installed.

its a cheap way to find out that its not your issue and makes the monitor more reliable for years to come.

I did notice that after a while, the waving died down, so I guess a cap kit is the way to go.
