My Ultracade monitor has given up the ghost....

No picture.

Machine powers up, sound is active. Picture is 100 dead.

Machine is approx 7 years old.

I am a rookie at monitor repair and would prefer to PAY someone to come out and repair it.

I am located in Las Vegas, NV.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Rob

monitor control board

On the monitor control board it says

"SEGAI SE-ME23VXX"

Does that tell us anything as to which type of monitor I might have?

Thx

No help from HAPP

Took my monitor over to Happ Controls today

Said they "had never heard of Segai before"

No help there

Took it over to Nevada Coin - they are looking it over now

The saga continues.....

Seriously ?!?
First off.... if they have the manual and a decent tech, should be no problem.
Second.... I'd bust their balls with a copy of this. http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Monitors/Happ Controls SE-M21C XX 13 or 19.pdf

Anyways, hope the other place can help you out.

You don't want to bother with Happ anyway. They will only work on a very limited range of models (last I asked, WG D and K series and some Nanao) and conspicuously overcharge on labor. I'd sooner ship it to someone from these boards that's a state or so away, though closer would be preferable; I'm fortunate to live within 25 miles of Chad from ArcadeCup so when a monitor stumps me I take it over to him.
