Comfortable with cap kits; first time flyback replacement.
25K7000 series, new FB from Bob Roberts.
Got it soldered in no problem.
Figured out the plastic latchy socket thing on the neck for "the black wire."

"The red wire", however, has a connector on the end, which fits onto a pin at the neck board.
I managed to use a tiny screwdriver to remove the terminal from the (single pin) housing.
However, the crimp-on pin (socket, actually) isn't one that I keep on-hand (i.e. not 0.156", 0.093" or 0.084").

Anyone know the P/N for this guy, and/or a good source??

EDIT to add caption:
On left, the old FB's crimp-on terminal (this is what I'm looking for)
In the middle, the housing into which it was fitted
On the right, the new FB's bare wire (onto which I wish to crimp a terminal)

I just snip the wire off the connector, put a dab of solder on it, tin the wire, solder it to the connector, then reinsert the connector into the housing...

I solder direct to the neckboard (meaning you desolder the pin out). doesn't hurt anything, just makes it slightly more permanent. lol

I have a suitable replacement available for you. PM me your address, and I will hook you up for free. The catch is... you will need to post pics of it.

I have a metric butt ton of projects going on right now, so you will have to remind me in the pm what we were talking about.

Thanks for the responses, guys.

Now including the ones you all have pointed out, I can see there are many ways to "make it work" just fine.

-cut off the wire & terminal from the old FB, solder old wire to new wire & heat shrink
-remove terminal from old wire, solder onto new wire
-remove pin from neckboard, insert new wire thru hole and solder
-solder the new wire straight to the pin on the neckboard
-crimp on an 0.062" Molex round socket terminal (and adjust to fit if req'd)
-crimp on a little QD and squeeze it until it holds
-ad infinitum

There's nothing wrong with those (and I may end up using one of those methods). But sometimes I'm a bit anal about putting things back the way I found them. So I kinda wanted to find and crimp on the same basic type of terminal, and put it back into the same housing. That and the crimp-on terminal looks to be the same one I've found in yoke connector housings... So I wanted to learn what type they are and where to get them, as they seem kinda of common in monitors (Wells-Gardners, anyway).

Thanks, Dokert. I PM'd to take you up on the kind offer.
