Hi there,
Is there a resource anywhere as to what boards would be compatible with what tubes? I have a Matsushita TM202 monitor that I just capped, was working great, and after leaving it on for 6 hrs, now I have a red, washed out screen with white lines across it. You can still see the game on the screen, but the picture is washed out with red. Adjustments to the pots don't change anything. So I also have a WG49XX monitor that I also recapped, but the tube for it has significant burn in, so I thought I'd put the WG chassis on the Matsushita tube if they'd be compatible. I also have a G07 monitor and chassis, but I understand that Electrohome has different wiring than other monitors.
Thanks for your help.

the yokes are what important when swapping chassis from one tube to another. The yoke on your matsushita tube matches your matsushita chassis, and the yoke on your WG tube matches your WG chassis. If you move chassis, you need to move the yoke also.

Otherwise, just make sure the neck of the new tube has the same number of pins and is the same size as the neck of the old tube.

On another note, it almost sounds as if your tube is bad (red gun shorted). If that is the case, then swapping a different chassis to it won't help. You can verify this by removing the red drive transistor from the neckboard. If your screen is still all red, then you need to hook up a rejuvenator to the tube to see if the gun short can be removed...
