Monitor Chassis Repair

Free Bump on a damn good price for monitor repair. Nice to see someone is doing monitor repair at a fair price instead of the crazy $100+ prices I see from some people. If I had a G07 to send ya I would, but most of mine are WGs. You should set up a website at some place like freewebs.com and get the ball rolling on this.

The price may be fair to you, but it's not fair to him, he just hasn't figured that out yet.If you knew anything about it, you would not want him to or expect him to work on a monitor for that cheap.

In the end, nothing really good comes from getting or doing something too cheap.

Do you do the 13" GO7?

Thanks

I don't have a 13" tube to test them on, sorry :(

Oh, I get it. I was just trying to rustle up some cash for plane tickets and figured some money was better than none.

Actually, pricing on this is not as bad/good as you may think. Consider that a Deluxe rebuild kit on G07's is $40 in parts, then add in $15 shipping and the $35 assembly fee - and you've got yourself a $90 repair job. Not that the OP should come down on labor, he's low enough as is.

G07's may be the most plentiful chassis with a simple design and a great pic - but with garbage flybacks (and frankly, most of the other components are poo as well), they become just as expensive as any other chassis to fix.
