I have a Happy Hour 48-1 I bought used at Christmas and it has brought endless hours for my family. It now has a problem. I beleive i have a 25x3004-00-5 monitor. It is arcing when on and it appears to be coming out of a black half moon that is part of the ac supply. I am attaching pictures. Any help is welcome or anybody close to St Augustine Fl that does service calls :)

Looks like you have a Wells-Gardner K7000 monitor and it has a bad flyback. There's cracks in it plain as day and the high voltage is arcing out of it.

DO NOT OPERATE THIS MACHINE UNTIL THE MONITOR IS REPAIRED!

yup

it's a K7000.

yours needs to be rebuilt.

if you want to send the chassis out for repairs PM me i can do it.

Peace

The half moon is just a plastic holder for the ac power to the monitor. Im willing to bet the arc is actually coming from the flyback to the half moon. That flyback is original, i see cracks, and its the white knob version.. TIme for a chassis rebuild.

IF you want to learn some stuff and save alto of moneey, fix it yourself! There is a k7000 repair sticky near the top of the monitor repair section.

Otherwise, buffett, modessit, dokert, and wishbringer(chad@arcadecup) are all good reputable people you can send that chassis to for repairs.
