I acquired a golden tee cab with a monitor (crt tube) with no monitor board. all I have to go off of is the stickers on the tube.

9A3002-1 SANYO MEX. 0223

ANOTHER STICKER

PHILIPS A63AFWRFX.

ANY IDEAS ON A MONITOR BOARD REPACEMENT??

THANKS!!

All I have is the tube itself mounted in the cabinet. What is the cage? There is no pcb on the back of the tube or below it...thanks

If all you have is the tube, and no deflection yoke, then something tells me you need a whole new monitor. Someone probably stripped it because the tube is bad. Have someone test it before you go spending time/money tracking down the parts.

The "cage" is the monitor's frame. 25" monitors usually have a cage-looking frame that the tube and chassis bolt into.

Without a deflection yoke, you're going to have to do a full setup/convergence when you install the parts. And if you're missing the convergence rings, then you need those too.

Might be bettter off finding a 25" TV set to steal a tube/yoke from, and get a generic chassis from Alva or 8Liners. Then you can mount all that stuff in your monitor frame with a minimum of effort/cost.
