Whats the best way and easiest way to adjust your monitor so all of the colors are in sync? Or is it just trial and error? Just started collecting arcade games and was messing with color adjustment and it was getting very frustrating. lol Your help would be appreicated. Thank you.

I always start by turning all the adjustments to their center position. Then I adjust black levels and contrast via flyback screen pot, brightness, and contrast. Then I will get on the screen a known image that I can reference for colors - a test pattern is ideal, but a game you are familiar with works too. Then you just tinker around until the colors are close.

also are you using a mirror or friend to help out or are you usinf the run around front , look , then readjust methood? mirror or a friend is so much easier and bang on , way quicker

Well, I start with an image that I know exactly what all the colors should look like.

Normally I turn all the color pots down all the way, then turn the brightness up until I see a white haze, then back it off until the haze just barely goes away. Then I turn up the red bias pot all the way until I get a red background, then back it off until the background just barely goes black again - but you can still see the red images on the screen. I do the same with the green and blue. Then I adjust the red and green drive pots (and blue if applicable) to get a nice bright picture. The last adjustment is contrast if the monitor has that.

Sometimes I have to adjust the brightness down or up a bit once the colors are asjusted.

And watch anything that should be white. if it has a slight tint, then that color needs to be turned down a bit, or another color needs to be turned up...

ok I took your guys advice and it looks great....just one question, the screen on the sides need to expand out a little bit.....what dial or button do you use to adjust that?

the 3rd pot from the left. it should widen out the picture. if it doesnt work id just replace all those pots anyway AND a cap kit while im at it.
cap kit freshens up the colors AMAZINGLY.
be careful cap C302 is screened wrong on the chassis, just pay attention to how the caps are oriented and you should be ok.
do the sync MOD and reflow cold solder joints. this is what id do anyway..
