I am not sure what monitor I have, I'll get some pictures of it tonight.

I am having issues getting the dark gray and browns (probably others) colored right. What would I need to adjust to fix this?

I've messed with the "Black Level" and "Contrast" but its never the right colors. I also tried changing the brightness level on the flyback.

This is in my BBH and its messing up the gun's accuracy.

Not sure if this is of any help, but I notice a red tinge on the screen that goes in and out. I can't get rid of that either.

That sounds like wore out capacitors. What brand/model is the monitor? Do you have red/green/blue gain/cutoff pots? If adjusting those doesn't bring out the colors you want.. you're probably going to have to get a capkit installed.

yes i would start with a cap kit. i stock them all if you need 100% nichicon 105c kits.

I do have cut offs and gains. I'm just not sure the best way to change them. The pots are on the top of the neckboard.

lol caps.

keep pushing that product, I guess. a model of the monitor would certainly help.

Found out the monitor is a Wells Gardner 25k7197

Though the gun on the game is still off in the corners and I have to blow out the black levels to get it to work at all.

You need to recap it, security0001 has the parts snap a picture of the monitor for us.

If you can't adjust the brightness correctly no matter what it's caps. Wells used crappy caps and they always always need to go. Do that and you're golden.

So I'm willing to accept I need to recap it. But my question is, the monitor seems plenty bright. But to be fair the flyback is jacked to the max and it's not washed out, so that probably reenforces the recap thing

I need to see a picture it's worth a thousand words make sure to get the chassis and the front when the games on

colors look good idk what you're talking about

Yeah, I said I fixed them, by adjusting the color drive. But my big buck hunter STILL doesn't shoot in the top corners and to get that I have to blow out the black levels so it's not black but like white.

I've been told "caps" multiple times but I don't see why...Game looks fine.

your convergence is off in the top right side from what i see in your picture and that can have an effect on the gun registering. its not the only thing that will cause your problem though. if it was my game i would 100% verify with testing whether its in your monitor or the gun because at this point its a guessing game. test the gun with another monitor in it and then try another gun in the original game/monitor then you will know 100% where your problem is and you can then focus on fixing it and no more guessing.

After readjusting the colors, did you recalibrate your gun? Most games do need that after any monitor work. Just something to try, if you haven't already.

My issue is I don't have another gun. What other games use the same connector? I will need to try another monitor. Issue might be connectors.

I really appreciate the help guys

connectors shouldn't be a problem if your only have registering issues on part of the screen because connectors would usually be not registering at all.

which BBH version do you have?
