Where would he get the little black DK connectors?

Won't the winner be surprised to find out that it is a DK3 harness?

I might expect to see something of that nature in the March time frame. The connectors to make them are not cheap, and they are not keyed like the originals either. We still have a few small kinks to get worked out.

I was thinking the same thing...I have three complete dk3 boardsets that I got as complete kits with the original dk3 harness and those are dk3 harnesses...they are made to plug into an existing dk or dkjr harness...but you can't run dk or dkjr with just that harness as some connectors are slightly different.....

A DK3 harness will run both DK & Dkjr just fine, I know this from personally testing it in both a CT and an UR.

yes I didn't read the auction correctly. Just saw the harness, knew it was a DK 3 and assumed that was what the auction was listed as.

Although it is always nice to have money, I am NOT in this hobby for the money. The money I make supports my game habit barely, and it sure as hell doesn't pay my rent. I will continue to make things for other people as long as it is still fun, when it becomes a job I will have to quit.:D

It ain't easy being retired.

Hmm..I'm going to have take a look at that...I could have sworn it was somewhat different..because it was made to fit into existing harness..i thought connectors were different...but its been long time since I messed with them...I'm sure your right...

The cp connector looks to be different from what is needed for a DK or DKjr.

Dok changed it to Phet's favorite smiley.;)

DK3 harness works fine with Jr. or DK. I actually use my DK3 cabinet to test my DK boards since it is much easier to deal with the edge connector rather than all the little individual connectors.

Dokert, if you started repro'ing these harnesses, I'd give you a kiss.

I have and have had many of those harnesses, I use them in all my DK games. There seem to be several revisions and versions of this harness too, as some have the little connectors, some don't, some are longer, etc. I'll have to pull all mine out, line them up and inspect each one closely.

Will look into it again in a couple of days. It is going to take a couple of weeks to get everything needed to make a limited run of 20 of these. Cost will most likely be $55 shipped if I remember correctly. Those connectors and pins are not cheap.
