I have a Data East Monday Night Football that the display just quit working. I have +/- 95 volts and 4.5 volts on the connector on the display board, but the displays are blank, nothing on them. Anyone got any ideas? I checked pinrepair.com but they just refer to the power supply being the problem.

Did you check the ribbon cables?

I disconnected and reconnected them. I didn't verify continuity. I'll check that this evening.

Continuity is good on the cable. I checked voltages again and they are all good. How can I verify that there is a digital signal getting to the display?

Other than voltage, what could cause the entire display to fail? There was no warning. The entire thing quit all at once.

Replaced the display with a new one and everything is working fine. I guess the gas displays just failed. They're all LED now. I put a Rottendog display in. Does anyone know if I need to adjust any voltages or make any changes for the new display? I don't want to burn it up.
