Hi,

Any Monaco GP (the original one) mini-standup owners out there that can tell me where I can find bulbs for the marquee? They don't look like any of the "normal" bulbs I am able to find online, they have a built-in rubber boot thing that slides onto a pair of metal prongs.

Are they available, or do I have to adapt a more modent type of bulb on there?

Thanks very much,
Ryan

What markings are on the bulb? Many of the older housings used rubber insulated leads on the ends of wires to connect to standard bulbs.

I just looked through the online manuals and I think you may have 44 or 47 bulbs in there. Is the bulb the size of a standard marquee bulb, or is it much smaller?

I believe they're 555 (6v) bulbs. They also make an LED replacement as well. I've got a ton of them.

*edit* 515=555

Thanks! I bought those and received them and they work well, my Monaco marquee is shining away in all its 6v incandescent glory.

I've never seen bulbs like this before, I had to "run" the little wires into the rubber boots. I guess they're older-school than the typical plug-in ones or push-and-turn ones.

I appreciate the responses!

Wedge lamps are very common in Arcade machines. They're most commonly found in use on coin-doors and many marquees. Later nearly all marquee lamps used fluorescent fixtures.
