I have a working Monaco GP Mini. The monitor was just recapped and the colors are good. Collision detection is good, sound is good.

However, when I go into the tunnels I don't see the lighting effect from the car. Also, I must be driving over potholes or oil periodically because the car wobbles occasionally but I can't see whatever item on the screen is causing that either.

Any ideas or experience with adjusting the machine so that I can see the lighting effects? The monitor brightness is good.

OK, I figured out that the asphalt is the wrong color. It should be grey. So it looks like one or maybe a couple of the colors are not displaying. Is there any way to fix this?

Someone recently did a repair on their game and reported it brought the headlights back as a by-product. I'll have to see if I can find the thread.

Mine powers up but I can't coin it up. I have the parts that were recommended to fix the issue but I haven't gotten to do the swap yet. My son's birthday is this week and Xmas is next week so, I guess I won't be doing the swap until 2011!! :(

I found the issue. It is a monitor adjustment. I had to up the red and blue drive. The monitor was also looking a little bit green.

It is a lot better. I can see the headlamp effect as well as the areas of road that are in disrepair so I can avoid them when driving now.

Still need to tweak some. Trying to not overdrive the monitor though I think that may have been part of the technique of making this game's effects work.

I got a nice smoked plexi shield from wmacmonagle. I'm playing with that to see if it will fit in my cab. I don't even know if the Monaco GP is supposed to have one of those.

I have a mini as well the wiring is a rats nest, glad you fixed it
