I got a question for you dudes that have restored a mk. I wanna put a new jamma harness in mine( I installed one from jammaboards a while back and the quality sucks) and I was wonderin how you molexed the cp. I need a 16 pin(not including the kick harness) but I cannot seem to find one that big. When I originally did it, I used a 15 pin for all the buttons except the starts, but I really dont like it like that. What do you guys suggest? Should I just half it up and put 8 on both sides, or go with the original in line connecters? If I go with the inline, where the hell do I find them?

Thanks
Jason

Just sample them directly from molex. You can get MUCH larger connectors there, and they will send you 2-3 of them for free.

If you want exactly 16 pins, you will need to go with a KK series, which is an inline style. If you want the more typical style, you would have to go up to a 24 pin connector and just leave some of the pins empty.

If you want to go that route, you would need these two part numbers, plus terminals.

You can use their "request samples" page to get a couple of each housing and enough terminals to fill them for free. They will even pay shipping if you select USPS as your delivery method.

Usual turnaround for me is 5-6 days, but I order in bulk from them, so I may get faster service.
