Molex crimper recommendation

I have the one bob sells, its ok. I also have a Molex HTR2445A, its far superior to the Waldom HT1921. Of course it costs alot more but you can find them used on ebay. If you do alot of crimp connectors you owe it to yourself to buy a good ratcheting crimper.

Yep,
I used to use the ones Bob sells.....With my job...I do so much crimping, I was buying a new set every three months. The "jaw" would start to wear out and I'd start getting unreliable crimps on .100 size pins.

I now use the HTR2445A for .156 pins, the HTR2262A for .100 pins, and a HTR1031E for .093 pins. I've had some of these going on 5-6 years....and they still crimp like the day I opened their box. These arn't for everyone (they're expensive), and are total overkill for the weekend warrior.......but the crimp you get with these things, it's unbelievable.

I agree, perfect factory looking crimps every time. Once you use these you wont want to use the budget ones any more.
