I just bought a space invaders. It smelled like mold when I picked it up. It looks to have yellow looking mold spores growing inside the cab and on some of the cab side art. What cleaners do people us to clean up machines without damaging the paint and side art on the cabs?

Scrub it really good with a bleaching agent and then seal the wood with a clear coat or some sort of paint.

Home Depot sells some spray mold killers in the paint department which are meant for wood, although I can't remember any brand names.

Make sure you wear a good respirator mask when you work on this cab. Mold is really not good for your breathing and neither are those cleaners.

Hit it with bleach, and when it dryes, lightly sand the entire inside of the cabinet and it will look like new. . .

Be careful when using bleach. I used it straight from the bottle on a rag. It took 3 months for my fingerprints to grow back. Owww!

You might also want to try something like Lysol. It will kill mold as well adn still leave you with your fingerprints.
