Still trying to wrap my head around the whole tube swapping thing... I could've sworn there was a guide for this, but I can't find it.

Anyway, this page describes a modification that can be done to their chassis to switch between low impedance and high impedance... could a similar mod be done to just any chassis? Or will it only work on certain types of chassis e.g. analog vs. digital? Or did this company specially design their chassis so they can be modified this way?

Damn, I kinda wanna get into screwing with monitors now...

P.S. There's really very very little information on neck connectors/sockets, like the most common sockets and pinouts. Anything on this?

Not sure what info you can't find for pinouts of sockets, as the BK tube chart has pinouts of all their adapters at the end. The big common sockets are the CR-23 and CR-31.

As for changing a monitor to accept different yokes (for example, a high-impedance G07 working with a low-impedance K4600), I don't think they are designed to operate that way - even with a mod. You'd have to get a detailed schematic of those new chassis to see how they accomplish it to see if it can be applied to older versions. Plus you'd have to adapt yoke connectors as they all connect in different ways...
