I have a hard modded Original Xbox. I use to have a program on my PC that let me delete and add games to it. Well, I lost that awhile ago and have a few xbox games I burned onto it that I need to remove. The program is Slayer 2.7 Anyone have the program that you download onto your PC to use with a modded Xbox?

I know at one time I had one version of it. Not sure if it was 2.7. Have you tried XBMC? It does just about everything.

You can just use an FTP connection to connect to the xbox and transfer files. Make a crossover network cable, plug it into the ethernet port on the xbox and use an FTP client such as filezila to connect to it. That's how I transfer the files to my modded xbox.

The ones I've messed with all used an FTP client to access the modded XBox. So, something like FileZilla would do it. http://filezilla-project.org/

You have to have the XBox connected to your computer network. Go into the Slayer menu, and you can find the XBox's IP Address from there. Punch this into FileZilla as the "server" address. If I remember right, the username and password was just xbox and xbox, but it's been a while.

Slayer's disk was the automatic format and install disk once a new hard drive was installed. Doesn't do anything once the system is up and running.

Hmmm....someone needs to take me step by step on how to access the game files on this thing. I tried both programs and cant get the thing to connect to the xbox. On the filezilla I put the IP where it is asking for the host right?. I tried using the username and password as Xbox. Wish there was just a way to delete games off the list without having to connect it to a PC.

Ugh.....O.k., I found the program where I can delete files without having to connect it to my PC. Thanks for everyones help though. Would like to find someone that knows alot about these and see about getting some emulators downloaded on it though. Anyone?

Try the "Big Ass Emulator" disks. They had every emulator and r@# for every system and it booted straight from xbox. I bet if you did a little searching you could find the torrent to dl.

I use the latest version of "DVD2XBOX" to add games and delete them on the Xbox. I use "flashFXP" to transfer information, games, and music to my xbox. Its a free program that even after it expires in 30 days, yo9u can just delete it and reinstall it for another 30 days.

As for emulators and ROMs I have quite a few. SNES, NES, N64, Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, 400/800 computer, Genesis, Gameboy, Intellivision, and Vectrex. Some can be found on the torrents or from some sites. Make sure you have very good antivirus software.

I have all my notes somewhere from when I did the mods.. I'll see if I can figure out which drive its on. I have Slayer 2.6 somewhere.. I also have a brand new Executer 2 if anyone is interested. I also did a dvd drive replacement mod to one of my boxes and probably have the paperwork on that around as well.

The problem with my xbox is the files are messed up. I can still burn games to it, but I can download Emulators to it. :( Wish I knew someone around here that could take a look at it and get the whole thing straighten out. That and I would love to have a larger HD installed in it.

Qwix is a program for making ISOs.

If your Xbox is really hard modded, it should be fairly simple to install a larger hard drive and new programing.

I've built probably 20 modded Xboxes so far. Mostly hard mods with Duo X 2 chips and a few soft mods. I really prefer working with hard modds even though they are harder to install in the first place. (You have to do some very fine soldering to make them work) Changing hard drives is so much easier with a hard modded Xbox.

Copy off all the information you want to keep from the old HD, then put in the new one, format it and start installing programs, games, and emulators. The worst part is its time consuming. It can take hours to load up everything and do a good job of it.

I usually check over the Xbox and clean it while I have it apart too. Its a good idea to check on the 1 Farad capacitor while you're in there. I don't know how many of those I've replaced because they were leaking and damaging the board. It can cause some strange symptoms, like random resets and disk trays opening and closing by themselves.
