I really didn't want to do a MMAO here, but it's hard to place a value on one of these and I've had it for more than a decade.

The Good:
I've got a fully working Nintendo Dual Vs. upright. This is the system with two side-by-side monitor heads, two control panels (each with two players). All 4 coin mechs are working and keys are included for all the over/under doors. Both monitors have a nice bright display. All 4 control panel joystick/button sets + the start buttons are in good working order. Basically this is a plug & play. There are no guns.

Part of the reason this is a MMAO is because I have 3 fully working PCBs (new battery holders), and a bunch of games. However, I think I would like to keep at least one PCB and a couple PPU chips for something down the road.

PPUs:
2x 01
1x 02
2x 04
1x Top Gun

Chip Sets:
vs. Super Bros.
vs. Ice Climber
vs. Golf
vs. Top Gun (and vs. Castlevania) <-- probably will keep this one
vs. Tetris
vs. Golf
vs. Hogan's Alley (untested, but presumed working)

The marquees are for vs. Baseball and vs. Golf.

The Bad:
Cosmetically the cabinet has a few cracks and could definitely use some new t-molding. It's structurally sound for sure. Hopefully I can get some pics up soon but I need to get it out of the corner of the garage.

I really would rather see this go to a good home, so please do not ask me to part this out. I haven't seen but a couple of these and none on flea bay in the longest time. Also potentially open to trades.

In KC, MO area.

All original with harnesses and cage (even a few bad vs. baseball and vs. SMB chips at the bottom that can be used for donor legs I suppose)

Nice clean displays

Yes there is a back panel -- just removed for pictures

Also don't know if you have another Vs but if so would you be interested in Vs Slalom complete kit with Skis?

I dunno bro. Like I said, I haven't seen but a couple in all the years that I searched for boards, chipsets, etc. I had the MMAO or trade options there to hopefully get in a good dialogue with one or more folks from nearby Missouri/Kansas/Nebraska/Iowa, etc... and arrange a sale or swap. Personally, unless this is in your holy grail, I wouldn't recommend shipping this thing.

I can obviously price the more Unisystem-compatible components like the PCBs, the rarity of the chipsets, 2 fully populated CPs, the monitors and chasses, coin doors, mechs, etc., but I'm also a fair person and the sum of these individual parts is certainly more than I would sell the whole cabinets for. I just don't want to part the thing out and ruin a fairly rare piece of Nintendo history.

The slalom is definitely unique, but skiing just isn't my thing after a bad incident when I was 10 :) Also am likely going to acquire a Vs. Dr. Mario in a couple weeks from a nearby collector. With that said, I prefer cash, but my want list certainly extends beyond what's in my signature.

Your looks like mine when I picked it up including all the extra chipsets and PPU's. I won't start throwing prices out there because I don't want to get anything set in anyones mind. The hardest part with selling this cabinet is the size. It's really actually smaller than two regular upright cabinets side by side but moving this thing around, especially through doorways and up and down stairs, is a real treat. I sold mine for what I got it for and the guy who bought it was a friend who only bought it because he knew another guy who wanted one.

Good luck with your sale. I would REALLY love to own this cab again but I don't have the energy to deal with getting it into my house. OOOH... maybe I'll build a mini version of this cab. Hmm... just need to acquire two 13" Nintendo monitors and I'lll make this happen. :)

Could you post the dimensions? Im interested but not sure it would fit into the basement.

I know the hardest dimension in getting mine into the house was the front to back measurement. With the control panel attached it is something like 34" or 35" deep. My doorways are just a touch over 31". I had to disassemble the control panel which brought the front to back length to like 30.5" so it would fit through my doorways then reassemble it when it was inside.

OK, here we go. Actually way smaller then I thought.

Height: 64
Width: 42 1/2
Depth (back to front): 24" to edge of cabinet, 33" measured from the back to the front of "control panel wedge". As others have stated, remove the CPs and it can easily fit through any door.

Tom,

I'm off for the next 4 days, so just shoot me a PM with what you were thinking and I'll have you over the house to look. You can even check out the DK Jr. I was able to recap while you were out sick.
