MM

Well at least he put "wow!" in the title to let everyone know something* was outstanding in the auction! :D

* The price

I didn't even pay that much for a complete game. I gave Phet a heads up on that because he was looking for a kit a while back but seeing how much that is up to I don't know if he's still going for it.

Being sold in oregon (my neck of the woods)!
Got to give props to the seller, no reserve price and it still jumped to nearly $500. Must be a super popular game on this side of the country. I've heard 720s are the same way.

I was the winner of that auction (it was my final bid and I did not have anything left to go up, so another dollar and someone else would have won). Marble madness is a game I actually had years ago and sold when I downsized at one point. I am sure the prices go up and down, but I have always seen them sell (whenever I was looking) at $400 for a complete kit. I was planning on building a mm out of parts, but now It doesn't look like I will need to do that. There is a pcb that I was planning buying on ebay, but it was untested and probably would have taken $200 to buy it. Another reason I wanted it back again (other than its fun to play), is that my current system one cab was originally a MM. It even has the compartment door MM sheet and all the documentation too.

So now I have a system one cabinet with 4 games (MM, RR, RB, and IJ) and waaaay too much money it it!!!!!!

Later,
mickey

ps I have already bought a MM control panel (stripped of all parts but nice overlay) and one trackball with atari cone buttons (hasn't even arrived yet in the mail). I would be willing to sell it at a loss if another system 1 collector is interested. $60 for all of it (shipped).

$460 final price well its nice to know I can get all the money I put in to the game back out of it I have at least $500 some in my MM just to get it to the point its at now. I have an entire board set for another MM I have the system one mother board (working) a power supply unknown fairly sure it works and a MM cart nonworking. Right now I think I'm going to hold on to them since I always like to have a back up PCB working or not. I think it might be a combination of bad ROM's and maybe bad chip sockets on my bad MM cart.

I will fix it one day after I get like 20 other more pressing projects done.

like I said:
That game is good, real good, has something special (like 720 ) I dunno what it is but it's a magical arcade machine, I always watched people play.

And I'm from Europe :D If I had space and could buy more cabs I would most def buy a MM and a 720 and they would be right next to each other.
Well I just have to keep dreaming I guess.
