So I managed to beat MM again today on regular difficulty, got 96k points. I picked up a lot of hints from this video, but I've no idea how he's able to move so fast. I finish level 1 w/ 54 seconds like he does, but I'm almost 20 seconds slower on level 2, never end up with a surplus like he does...

I replaced the trackballs from the originals, could the Happ replacements just be pulsing slower?
