I'm restoring an original MKII cabinet which had all original wiring. I got a PCB online and after fixing up the cab, I plugged it in. It has two issues. 1. No sound. It is getting-5v, about 5.1 at the board. I do get the "ping" when I boot it up. The diagnostic says the sound board is good. The game plays and coins up, but every so often you hear the "ping". The light on the sound board goes off after it boots. I'm at a loss of where to go from here. Did someone sell me a bunk board?
Issue 2. There is some collapse on the bottom of the screen. This is a rebuilt k7000 that I just got from Buffet, and I checked it with another game without issue. No collapse on bottom of screen and I had sound.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

They show good in the test menu. Do you think the screen being squashed at the bottom is related?

There's no pot. The volume is up. In the burn in, I noticed it restarts when it gets to UJ23. It turns green right before restarting . Does this mean a bad rom? I thought it would just turn red if so.

Yes, I pulled out the daughter board and they are not populated. From what I've read, the EU13 may mean my board is trash. Any body have experience with this?

Ok, I'm embarrassed to say the sound issue was a flipped ribbon cable. The bottom of. The screen is squashed still. After checking again the eu13 and roms all go green before the test restarts. Is the test supposed to restart? Because it goes straight into the game. I popped in a police trainer pcb and did not have the squashed screen. Could this be a voltage issue?

Ok, for anyone else having this problem. It was fixed by adjusting the vertical pot on the chassis. MKII must have weird resolution.
