MK3 Tmolding question

Is 20 feet enough, or do you need more for going around the cp as well?

You will need at least 25. I remember being about 3 feet short when I did my MK1. I originally ordered 20 ft from Tmolding.com and it was not enough.

Oh, and I'm basing this on the cab you posted the other day (which is the same basic cab as a MK1). A dedicated MK3 would take closer to 30.

order 30 to be safe when i measured my mk1 (which is pretty much the same as your universal cab) i measured 23' it's always good to get some extra.

breakdown:

cab 188"
control panel 83"

total 271"

mk2/3/nba/ki ect..... will need about 6 more feet for the additional molding under the cp.

Awesome, thanks guys, as far as size, is 3/4 what I want to get for it? (its been quite a while since I've ordered)

I was looking at this cab, and the black looks plain and boring, I know red is the standard with 1 and 2, but I was thinking light blue would pop really well and go good with the cpo.....thoughts?

correct 3/4" red t-molding. i recently ordered 80' of red and 50' of black from Gamemolding.com very happy with it and the price. i'm a purist so i say go red/black (imo red) but it's your game feel free to put whatever color you want on it :D

Finally got her done! Heres a couple pics of how it turned out. Not too bad for a conversion..

Cant seem to get the marquee bulb to come on however, I replaced the bulb and starter, but still no-go...

Ballast is the only thing left to change. I'd get a new fixture from wal mart for 6 bucks unless you have any parts fixtures to pull a ballast off of.

i'd check for voltage at the wiring first. if there's voltage i would then source a replacement for the whole unit. either the wally world, other big box store, or another used working unit.

Yeah, I replaced the whole thing, still nothing, I suspect something in the wiring perhaps...
