Anyone have some pics of how the MKII pcbs are connected in the cab?

I just picked up a MKII boardset and it has the data cable. I unplug the UMK3 that is in there now (100% working) and attach MKII to the JAMMA harness and P3 harness.

Turn it on, comes up to screen, no sound. Game plays.

So, I look at the manual online, looks like it needs a power cable going from P1 on the sound board to P3 on the CPU.

Is this correct?

Again, if this is correct, where can I get a cable to get sound?

Also, I have a bunch of connectors in this cab that is not being used. A dedicated MKII, and would like to know why. Doesn't loked "hacked" but there are a ot of connectors not used (for UMK3) and ook to be used for MKII...

Any help is appreciated!

Yeppers!

I think I need the power cable from Bob to make it work.
More of the reason for this post was to see whan connectors are connected where. Hence, the "Anyone have a pic?" statement.

You little froot loop...

i paid no attention to your "any pic statement" nor your mention of delicious cereals.

gonna throw and edit in here: since you have the manual, i'm sure you saw the pictures of how the harnesses are connected and at what connectors :) no pictures are needed :D

I try. Learned all my knowledge of the MK series from you..... (ewww. that's not good).

Post some pics and I MAY tantalize you with a nice bowl of Frooty Loops.

I threw up and edit there in my last post.

i can snap a few pictures of boards wired together if you really really need them, but they're not really necessary. I'm sorry you learned your MK knorrage from me, it's not even one of my favorites.

Threw up...nice.

sorry, leftover home made americanese food for lunch.

now to take down the camera from last nights photoshoot.

edit: pictures added of mk2

and here's one of my NBA Jam TE boards (same as mk1 pretty much)

only thing not shown in these pics is the kick harness (mk1 will be different but may or may not still work (may hang off the side/edge w/ its extra pins)).

True dat!

I'll be waiting for the cables from Bob.

Now, with the MK in this cab, the low kick and low punch doesn't seem to work. I know I cannot get sound yet...however, trying to match the 15 pin connector up...
Back to the diagrams...

i think it'll work but i can't promise you on that, i thought the layout was different but someone else told me otherwise.

Jammaboards.com use to have a lil jpg file that had all the layouts for all the mk's on it, wish i still had that file or could remember the post that had the pic in it. (might be old age might be something else).
