MK1 and MK2 Instruction Cards

I've been looking for a replacement Instruction card for my MK1 and a MK2 one also with little luck. I found the files on Arcadeartlibrary.com a few months ago and just got around to cleaning them up and converting them to Vector (i cheated and used Vector Magic).

I'm no graphics designer but i've played around with photoshop/paintshop pro for years. and I figured i'd share my end results. Feel free to comment on what you think.

The colors might be off slightly as both images are only 2-6 colors and i didn't have originals to work off of. Files are in PDF format.

thanks, there is 1 definite flaw with that one and it's the Part number under the right/p2 dragon. it should be standard font but Vector Magic made it look all MK text-ish lol. I'm sure this can be easily fixed, I kinda forgot about it tho.

I'm also not positive about the scaling so for MK2 you'll want to print it out 12 3/8" x 2 3/4" (was the original size)

The vectored MK1 you have, I don't really like the dragons. They don't looks correct at all. You did a good job, but they look all (pardon the expression) retarded to me. I'll hit you up for the MK2 one though. Thanks.

Yea vector magic did that with the dragons, It's high enough resolution tho that when its printed you don't notice at all

The original MK II should be white. Also the MK 1 part number is not just "12". It's more than that but I'm not home so can't take a picture of it.

There are 2 different MK2 Instruction cards, one is White with blue text/dragons and the other is black with color dragons and white text, personally i've always liked the black one better. (i also have the white with blue one as well if you'd rather that one).

Thanks! All I did was find HD quality pics on the net, downloaded MK, MKII and MK3 fonts and use MS paint. Beats buying a few hundred dollar photo shop program haha

the link for the mk2 is dead, Did anyone get a good scan of these for reprint? like original. the made up ones look great , but if you want original you have to have original... lol

No need to reprint yourself when Thisoldgame has silkscreened versions for 10 dollars.

They look way better than reprints. Only need to convince rich to do black mk2 version.
