I'm currently debating on getting a nearby JAMMA rig that appears to be a converted MK II or Killer Instinct cabinet.

Pretty sure the monitor is 25 inches and is obviously mounted horizontally, is it possible to mount the monitor vertically in one of these style of cabs? If so, is it easy or a pain in the rear?

Just curious. Not sure if I will bite or not, just being impatient and want to get my first 48-in-1 setup ASAP!

:D

You can change the monitor orientation on this cab as well as just about any other cab. Some just take more work than others though I doubt this one should be too hard. I've seen a 25" horizontally mounted monitor in a Centipede cab before. So was the cab a dedicated MKII or KI converted to something else or is it a generic Jamma converted to MKII or KI?

Good, not too hard is what I am hoping for. Cab is a dedicated MKII or KI converted to something else.

I did one recently. It was pretty easy, as the bolt mounts on the frame are the same distance apart from left to right as they are from top to bottom. Double check yours are the same, then just pull it out, turn it, and stick it back in. Just watch that the neckboard doesn't hit the top or back while doing so, as it will now be in a different place...
