Since the news of MJs passing, I decided to dig out my old MJ Moonwalker board and see if it still worked. Well, it fires up OK and the sound is good but the video is borked. Here is a video of it powering up:

I apologize for the sideways recording, (yup, I'm a dummy) The battery on my camera died of course so I'll try and get a better video once it's charged back up.

I have no idea what happens to these sega boards once the suicide battery dies. Is this the result of that?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

looks like a possible sync issue with the monitor and possibly not a board issue at all. Or also try adjusting your horizontal or vertical hold. Looks as if adjusting one of those might help. Even if the previous board you plugged in looked fine, boards are different and you may need to readjust a monitor in some cases when swapping in a new board. I'd try the hold adjustments first and if that doesn't work look into the possibility that your sync is wired wrong for this board.
