Jonathan asked me if I could take a moonwalker to CAX show. I dug out the board and plugged it in to a fully wired jamma cabinet 2 player. Sound works fine, but its not taking any inputs. Put it in free play, put it to 2 player mode and still nothing. Any ideas?

I have a spare clutch hitter board. Anyone know if Can I swap the lower board with moonwalker?

Put it into test mode (ground the test pin, pin 15, component side) and see if you are able to select and run the I/O tests.

You certainly can, both boardsets are Sega System 18, BUT you'll also need to swap over the FD1094 (the large black custom 68000). Be careful when removing that and refitting it, don't bend any pins, make sure it's put in the correct way around, etc.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I will look into swapping it. My cabinet does have the test button wired. I pushed it and no test mode. Pretty odd. I will try to look at it 1 more time before the swap and see if I can spot something wrong. Maybe a board jumper is missing? I will compare it to CH. I got it in a pile of boards, so I never actually saw it working.
