I've got a street fighter 2 arcade that has everything it needs, except the monitor and its chasis was stripped out of it at some point. I'm wondering if anyone who has the same game can help me identify what replacement monitors I can use with the game. I'd love to get it back up and running, but am not sure the best way to replace a misisng tube. It is a 25" screen and is the world warrior version of the game.

You should be able to use any standard resolution 25" monitor. You don't need one specifically from another street fighter machine. In most cases, a monitor is just a generic piece of hardware, and not game-specific.

You need to post where you are. 25"s are nearly impossible to ship so your location is important.

Thanks, I'm in the SF Bay Area. I'll keep my eyes peeled for an extra one someone might be parting out. Since the game can accept any standard 25" monitor, do you know if I would be able to pull a chasis out of another game or will it be specific to the monitor that I end up going with? Thxs

The chassis will be specific to the make and model of the monitor.

You should be able to find someone to sell you one in SF, though.

You should take pictures of the machine, frame and specifically the tube. For many common models it seems to me like Dynamo put WG K7000s into 70% of the dynamos. Your tube should provide some clue as to what monitor chassis matched with it.

There's been a Standard res monitor listed on CL in SF city for months but who knows what condition that is in.

I have stock piled a good supply of 25" monitors myself that have been fully gone over. I'm way down in the south bay to you.

I got a chassis, I dropped a coin door on the tube and broke the neck, so the 25" is surplus now, but has a complete working chassis before the incident, post model number, if its a match, cover shipping and its yours

Thanks for all of the help, but I actually need the whole tube, the chassis to go with it, the monitor, a transformer for the monitor and even the metal brackets around the monitor, in order to complete my arcade. Basically, I've got everything I need minus the entire tv setup inside. I'll try posting something in the wanted section, but if someone in the bay area does have something for sale, feel free to PM me.
