This is quite possibly the greatest funniest thing in all of existence. i have since smashed all my chassis', broke every window, and burned every flag just to be safe. Now to the fallout shelter, which just means living in the missile command cabinet. this is the way.took me a while to dig this out of my old vinyl collection and rip to mp3
had to fight 4 hobos, a crack dealer, and 2 DC cops, but i grabbed this from a show back in '86

I did that already and it helped a bit. I still wanted better response so I designed and 3D printed new trackball encoder wheels with a few more posts. The 3D print files are here if anyone wants to make their own.If you're running version 2 of the ROMS (if you have six ROM chips on your PCB), you can toggle dipswitch #4 on the bank of switches located at R8 to OFF to increase the pace of the trackball slightly.
(......he posted, opening up a potential can of worms).

Thanks for the correction" These include Missile Command, Football, Millipede, plus others."
>> Millipede does not use the larger trackball.
Atari 4.5" trackball:
- Atari Missile command (upright)
- Atari Football
- Atari Basketball
- Atari Baseball
- Atari Soccer
