Recently i purchased a full upright Missile Command. The game board does not boot up and getting some strange patterns on the monitor. The start player buttons are also solid lit.
The ARII -3 is working and the game board is getting all the proper voltages.. I went ahead and rebuilt it just because.. Same results, game board still doesnt boot.. I ordered a tested working board... It also doesnt boot, coin up or exibit any signs of playable life. Start player buttons are solid lit as before.

I consulted the manual, The manual shows a different power platter assembly than what i have inside my cabinet. Come to find out my Missile command has the cabaret/cocktail power platter inside instead of the one stated in the manual for a full upright model. They have different fuse ratings between the two. Not to mention the harness connectors are also different.

The thing about this is it all looks like it came from the factory like this.. No extra screw holes like you might expect when someone switches out the power platter, original staples that hold down the wiring harness etc etc.

Is this normal ? Are there other full upright Missile Commands that have the cabaret/cocktail power platters inside them? And would this make a difference why my game boards dont boot ? Or am i looking at two bad boards right off the bat even though i have the proper voltages present on the board ?
