It has been a long time coming, but my Missile Command cocktail is nearly complete. There are a few minor things left to be done, but I wanted everyone to know this one still exist!

This MC CT was imported from Canada (re-import) and had the following done during the restoration:

- New t-molding
- New end-caps on the legs
- Legs and topglass metal holders repainted
- Monitor rebuilt (worked, but was bright)
- Trackballs rebuilt and balls replaced
- Control panels swapped with nicer panels
- Game PCB repaired
- Topglass replaced (the original was missing and had been replaced with a piece
of clear plexiglass - yuk!)
- The entire top panel (that the topglass sits on) was replaced due to swelling
- Lock replaced and a few holes repaired in the main door

It has been a long road, but it turned out great! I forgot how much I enjoyed playing MC.
:)

I'll post another restoration next week.

I forgot to mention.... the topglass is an NOS original I traded for several years back. It was an incredible find and I am glad it finally got placed on a game where it belongs. :)

It got a good home; really nice looking machine! I love Missile Command.

scott, this is incredible. i hope my mc cocktail will look this good when im done. the topglass replacement is amazing...and i doubt ill be able to replicate so hopefully i can retouch.

yes thats a lot of top glass art that is in good condition.that woodgrain is actualy printed on the galss.i have another mc cocktail i have to restore but,the prob is the art is flaked off in places on the glass, apart from that i aint doing anything more with it,i will leave it as it is.nothing that can be done realy as paint pens dont match good with them so they will look worse than before.
