So I was one of the fortunate ones who got a free rebuild kit from RAM controls.

Problem is, I am fairly certain that this rebuild kit does not/ will not work with my missile command mini trackball.

does anybody have some insight as to what parts are necessary (shafts and such) to rebuild this trackball set-up?

It's not a happ, it's not a wico, It's just a little square set-up with a unique look to it.

Just use the encoder shafts and the ball. Ignore the idler shaft as the trackball mechanism you have does not use/need it.

I'd like to note that the OEM encoder shafts are 0.007" bigger in diameter than these reproduction encoder shafts (had to keep them in perfect sync with the HAPP version trackball unit), otherwise, they are nearly identical. In other words, they will work just fine in your controller. Just move the idler bearing inward ever so slightly to compensate for the smaller diameter.

Eventually, when I release the reproduction version of this trackball unit, I will have dead-on repro's of the shafts. Until then, the ones I currently make will work fine.

Enjoy!!

thanks bud

otherwise this is perfect for a happ or centipede?
