Mine is missing so I've been trying to collect info to make one... Now I have pictures of 2 different doors.

Which is correct? or most prevalent my serial number is around 7000.

Alos anyone willing to actually measure it all for me? Vent width and position, inside pieces as well ,lock postion etc.

see attached pictures

..and if you want to be exact about it, cut it from 3/4" particle board, then apply black vinyl. Nothing more, nothing less..

hey some people are all about the back door lol question for you about cutting a back door since you are going to be making one. i have never cut one but need to for my pc10 what type of wood are you going to use? i have a back door from one of my other pc10's so i can cut it to size but not sure what kind of wood to use?

For the PC10 - if it's the same thickness as a DK type cabinet, I think it's 1/2". I'd use the 1/2" sanded birch ply that Lowes or HD sells.

If I have to replace a back door on a cab I just use plywood. You will need to measure the dimensions of the opening on your cab though for a good fit. I have found that not all doors from the same type of cab will fit. Things can vary a bit ..so I wouldn't rely on someone elses door measurements.

I surely can measure the opening. I am more interested in the rest of the stuff like the wood pieces inside, length of vent position size etc

I can guess but might as well get it right since I haven't made it yet

Thanks

If I was you, and nobody would give me dimensions, I would do exactly this:

1. Measure your door way and all it's imperfections. Figure out what kind of rectangle you need to make to fit within good tolerance. Don't cut out a rhombus for a door simple cause your cab is caulked.

2. Get the best pics of the door you can possible find, then scale the remaining dimensions based on the ones you took from the door. To start, use the height for example, and then scale the height you measured to what is on paper in your pic. Use that ratio to scale the rest of the dimensions on your drawing.

Just remember if you scale out a dimension, and it's 24.85", it's likely 25" in real life... The larger scale dimension your reference, the more accurate your work will be. hence use the door height over width.

...

I was planning on measuring the opening what I really want are the dimensions of the wood "lip" piece and the width and position of the vent.

I would like to be close to original as possible

You can use the pics you posted. they show all the details you're asking about. If no-one can tell you the dimensions, it's your only option if you ask me. Not that hard. If you need more explanation on scaling, I can help.
